Caroline Queale
Caroline has been a Physical Therapist for 15 years in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her bachelor's degree in Biopsychology from Vassar College in 1985, and went on to become a research associate in the Anatomy Department of the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She entered the first Master's Degree class in The University of Delaware's Physical Therapy Program, and graduated in 1991. John Knarr was also a student in the program at the time, and the two have remained close ever since. Caroline took a job at The Johns Hopkins Hospital where she worked for eight years in multiple settings from the intensive care units to the outpatient setting. During this time, she was also a teaching assistant in the University of Delaware's Physical Therapy program, instructing students in Gross Anatomy as well as Electrophysiology. Additionally, she was a Clinical Instructor in the U of D's PT clinic under the expert tutelage of John Knarr!

After having her third child, Caroline left Johns Hopkins for the flexibility of Home Physical Therapy. This was and still is one of her passions. Being able to work with people in the very environment where they need to function is a privilege, and often a catalyst for a quicker recovery. Currently, insurance dictates that someone be "homebound" to receive services in their home. This is unfortunate, as many patients who don't fit this criteria would ultimately rehab better at home. She is very excited about Elite's "on-site" treatment availability for this reason.

For the past two years, she has worked in a private practice whose primary population has neck and back pain, and whose treatment emphasis is exceptional manual therapy combined with authentic Pilates. Caroline has developed a reputation as a therapist who " really gets you better." She believes in educating her clients about their limitations, and empowering them with the knowledge they need to actively participate in reaching their goals.

Golf is not only Caroline's favorite activity, but is also an area she excels at as a Physical Therapist. She is working closely with several golf pros in the Baltimore region who are ecstatic to team up with her to enhance their clients' game. Together they discuss a golfer's movement restrictions. These restrictions are addressed through soft tissue mobilization and an individualized stretching and core strengthening program, and the player is sent back to the pro with access to more freedom of movement and power!
