About Elite PT

Since its inception, Elite PT has worked diligently at becoming the best provider of physical therapy and wellness consultation. Patients can be confident they are putting their body and health in the hands of some of the most qualified, experienced, and progressive specialists in the field of rehabilitation, fitness, and performance.

Amelia and John Knarr established Elite PT on the west coast in the greater Los Angeles area. Elite PT’s foundation was built upon the emphasis of one on one patient care and individualized treatment.

The success of Elite PT’s treatment approach led to the rapid growth of five facilities in the prestigious areas of Newport Beach, Beverly Hills, Mid-town Los Angeles, Brentwood and within the historic Los Angeles Athletic Club.

Following the sale of the west coast business, the Knarrs relocated to Lewes, Delaware. The Knarr’s goal was to enjoy a better quality of life with their three young children and bring their expertise and experiences of Los Angeles to Sussex County, thus Elite PT was re-established on the East coast with an office on the Rehoboth beachfront.

With the move back to Delaware, and the addition of fellow University of Delaware physical therapy program graduate and classmate Caroline Queale, Elite PT expanded it’s practice to the Baltimore, Maryland region with the opening of an office at Pine Ridge Golf Course.

Further growth led to the addition of Andrew Rudawsky and James K. Hashimoto to the Elite PT team in Wilmington, Delaware. The Wilmington office is proudly located within the facilities of the Bernard and Ruth Segal JCC. This completed the Elite PT partnership.
